6. Cultivating Forgiveness
Carrying grudges will only weigh down your spirit. Forgiveness, even if silent or one-sided, releases all of that negative energy. No one’s suggesting you have to forget or condone whatever behavior led to the conflict, but choosing peace over prolonged pain is a productive and mature response. With that heavy burden now gone, you can now move forward in a positive way. You’ll be better equipped to regulate your emotional responses, which in turn builds self-awareness and deepens connections with others.

7. Breathwork
There is the type of involuntary breathing that we do every day to stay alive, and then there’s intentional breathwork that can be used as a transformative spiritual tool. Chanting “Om” and utilizing slow breathing techniques during exhalation make us feel more relaxed and calm. It can be done anywhere, like at your desk, in your car, or at the park.
