How to Organize Every Space in Your House in 8 Simple Steps (4 of 5)

Replace items in the space
So at this stage, your space is still a blank slate waiting to be restocked. So now that you have all of your items properly grouped in bins and all of your storage labeled, it is time to refill your space. A good rule of thumb here is to start with items and categories that will be used the most. Place frequently used items on lower shelves to give you better access to them.

Get in the habit of putting things back where they belong
Now you have done the hard part of organizing, so what’s next? This is where the potentially even harder part comes in—maintaining your system. The maintenance of an organizational system depends on your discipline. This means training yourself to always put things back in the bin, box, or section that they belong in. No exceptions! It can be a challenge at first, but eventually, it will become second nature.
